Pack Leader’s PL-501D-VW is a basic PL-501 machine that is supplied with a number of ‘optional extras’ already installed.
In the case of the PL-501D-VW this means that the basic label application system has been replaced by fully automatic application belts that rely on a vacuum on the inside of the belt to hold the label whilst it is being applied to the container.
The advantages of this system are that it becomes possible to apply larger labels, at speed, to larger type containers, for example, a 5L can. Whilst capable of applying larger labels the PL501D-VW is just as efficient at applying smaller labels which gives it a versatility that sets it apart from other labelers.
The PL-501D-VW can be customized to suit a large range of applications and this differs to the PL-501D-TC and the PL501D-NL which are PL501 machines that are modified to suit a particular bespoke application. The NL and TC variants can be adapted to cater for different sizes of the same bespoke application, but the opportunities for further adaptation are limited. The PL-501D-VW Labeller Is fully customizable to incorporate the usual range of optional Inclusions:
- Conveyor Height can be adjusted from 700mm to 1000mm (not including leveling jacks’ adjustment)
- Optional Hot Foil Coder for batch & expiry printing on labels
- Label Applicators Up To 200mm tall for larger labels
- Poly or stainless steel conveyor slats
- Optional sensors for clear and metallic labels
- AI Sensor for orientation labeling
- Tamper-seal labeling
