A COVID-19 Update from Packserv Australia

Monday 27 July: The situation regarding the measures to fight the COVID-19 crisis can probably best be described as ‘fluid’ and ‘evolving’. For the moment it appears that the state of Victoria is suffering the worst of it and the Packserv team in our Melbourne office are having to adapt to new health and legislative requirements whist continuing to provide our usual high level of service.

Packserv’s Melbourne office is continuing to fully operate in accordance with all government health directives. Face to face meetings unfortunately are not an option now, but we remain dedicated to help, so telephone and video calls can still be utilised.

However, effective immediately, any visitors to Packserv Australia Melbourne Office, which includes:

  • those making deliveries
  • suppliers
  • customers collecting machinery
  • contractors and/or subcontractors

must be in possession of a face mask and gloves.  

Orders may still be collected from our Melbourne office, however you must:

  • Phone ahead and advise your pick-up time.
  • Remain in your car in the carpark and your goods will be delivered direct to your car.

The situation in NSW is slightly better for the moment, but we have suspended all face to face meetings that can be replaced by phone or zoom.

Deliveries and collections are still being made from our Sydney factory, but anyone calling in person is asked to wear a face mask and to respect social distancing. For clients who would prefer delivery, that can be arranged as a contactless transaction with carpark delivery/collection. Please just phone ahead to advise your pick-up time.

Your safety and the safety of our team is paramount during these uncertain times and we would encourage everyone to follow the government guidelines in the interests of all concern
